Role and Responsibilities

• Manage development and production infrastructure with code-first approach developing AWS CloudFormation templates and Python tooling.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-related security controls that support our cybersecurity programs (SOC 2, NIST-800-53, etc.).
• Implement AWS Lambda functions in Python that call AWS services, query databases, and use third-party APIs.
• Perform compliance testing of cloud infrastructure following our security and operational controls, and document in our GRC software.
• Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies
• Collaborate with other teams to architect for scaling and reliability targets.

Required Experience

• Strong experience designing and building multi-tenant AWS Cloud IaaS Solutions employing design patterns of Serverless, events, messaging, distributed caching, etc. using Spring, OpenShift, Kafka, BMC Control M.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services (IAM, EKS- Fargate, Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, S3, RDS, Secrets Manager, VPC, EC2, etc.) and infrastructure management using Terraform.
• Proficient in building monitoring and alerting dashboards (ELK, Datadog) employing strong SRE principles.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Java, NodeJS, GO, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and version control.
